Cantina Update
It sure has been one HOT Summer, in the Bluegrass State. Between the rain and the heat, it’s a wonder how we still manage to keep the weight on! None the less, it has been a fantastic summer. With many compliments on food, some failures in time management, and even a few getaways, I put this summer on the top of my lists as one of the best. Noah and I have grown the business, developed new ideas for other endeavors and even started to think about next steps for the Cantina; a successful summer to say the least. However, these cool mornings are making us anxious for fall. With…

Life in the Bluegrass State
Well, life sure has changed a bit in the last month and a half of being in Kentucky. After two weeks of being here, we were licensed and inspected and ready to hit the streets. We worked so hard to get everything moving, that when we were ready, we honestly had no idea where to go! At first we began picking up some catering gigs here and there, and then some events started rolling in. We have noticed that there is a lot of potential for us in this city and state. Everyone has been more than welcoming, and the Southern Hospitality has really been alive. It has given us…

The Next Chapter for the Cantina & Owners Noah & Heather
As I sit here and reflect on the past two years of the Food Truck business and our Smok’N Cantina, I cannot help but smile and laugh a bit. What a ride it has been. From day one, when the generator failed to when I lit the flat top pilot light while it was on and almost blew my head off. Yes we have both been in the restaurant industry for many years, but taking on this food truck has been a learning experience for both of us. This incredible experience would never have happened without our family, friends and the people of Columbus, Ohio. From the Columbus Ohio Food…

Cantina “I Do’s”
It has been quite the year for owners of the Smok’N Cantina, Heather and Noah. First they started the food truck, then they got engaged and now they are married. What will come next? Well, there are no babies in the works, but there is a lot of food trucking ahead. Just last week, Noah and Heather said “I Do” and began their life as a married couple. Now, usually the week after the wedding, newlyweds can be found on a beach, sipping Pina Coladas and indulging in the finest foods. Well, these newlyweds are back in the CBUS and hitting the streets hard. Who needs a vacation, when you…

April Showers
They always say, “April Showers bring May Flowers,” and while yes, the Smok’N Cantina Team is hoping this is the case (Heather & Noah are getting married in May and would love to have some beautiful flowers in bloom and some sunshine!) this rainy weather is not stopping us from serving up great food at a fantastic price. It is panning out to be a busy weekend for the Smok’N Cantina team! We will be all over every part of CBUS and we hope everyone can grab a bite at some point. Stay up to date on all our locations throughout every week here and on Facebook and Twitter. We…
